"Linby CWFC would like to apologise to fans after calling off this Saturday's upcoming friendly against Teversal. Lewis Saxby was looking forward to welcoming his old team to Church Lane but unfortunately has decided to not go ahead with the fixture.
The decision doesn't come easily but the management team at Linby think it is the best thing to do after witnessing the club pick up a spate of injuries this past week.
We apologise for any inconvenience this has caused. Linby will hopefully be back in action on Thursday in a game against Bilsthorpe before returning to their first game this season at Church Lane in the last scheduled friendly against Arnold Town next Saturday."

The club will look to fill the date with another fixture, although this may not be possible at such short notice.
Teversal FC Reserves are at Carnarvon Street on Saturday when Holbrook Sports are the visitors for a 3.00pm kick off..
