Hosts, Teversal FC took on near neighbours Sutton Town AFC in the first game of the Tevie Tournament on Monday evening.
Teversal opened the scoring whenthe referee awarded a penalty which was calmly despatched by captain Dave Cockerill. However, Sutton were level before the break when Craig Mitchell struck home.
Mitchell then unleashed a stunner to put the Central Midlands side into the lead, but almost immediately Dave Cockerill levelled it up at 2-2, and that's the way it stayed until the final whistle.
So, straight to penalties, but 3-3 after the regulation five each the match went into sudden death. Sutton eventually winning the shoot-out by 5-4.
