A round up of the weekend's action from Teversal Youth.

Saturday 14th October : The Under 7s started the weekend in great fashion with an eleven goal game with visitors Gedling Southbank Athletic. Tevie had the better of the game winning 8-3.
AFC Kirk Hallam provided the opposition for the Under 11s but despite Finn Breed opening the scoring for the Tevie Boys they went down to a 6-1 defeat.
The Under 12s faced Lowdham Colts Black at Quarrydale Academy, and goals from Joshua Baldwin, Corey Hallam, Kian Jelley and Mitchell Turner helped secure a 4-2 victory for the home side.
Aspley was the destination for Teversal U13s as they faced Education FC. it finished all-square in a six goal game, with Lewis Clift, Aiden Ellis and Jamie Wells all finding the back of the net.
In what is becoming a worrying trend, the Under 15s were, once again, without a game. They were the spare team of eleven this weekend, but they have only played two games this season while others have up to six league games against their names, the team are wanting to play but yet another team has cancelled on them this coming weekend.
The Under 16s also had another blank weekend and also only have two league fixtures played out of possible six weekends when they could have been in action.
The Under 18s did get a game played and progressed in the NYFL League Cup with a 5-1 win at Fernwood Foxes. Shaun Waudby wrote this for the Teversal website... "Playing against the wind first half, Tevie took a while to settle and soon found themselves one down. Once they had settled they soon began to dominate and it came as no surprise when Kelton Ashby equalized.
The second half with the wind at their backs and Fernwood running out of steam, Teversal ran in four more with no reply. Goals were a brace from Stephen Bright, another from Kelton Ashby and a screamer from Curtis Burton."

Sunday 15th October : Under 7s Secretary Nat Fowler wrote the following... "The Under 7s travelled to Platt Lane to take on Keyworth United. After scoring an unfortunate own goal from a deflected corner and falling behind 1-0 in the first 20 minutes, the Teversal U7s showed great heart and determination to put four goals past the Keyworth keeper, Liam Naylor netting his first goal of the season, Riley Wells scored two goals on the day and Rio Naylor scored the final goal of the game. A brilliant team performance by the lads that seem to be improving game by game!"
The Under 8s were at home to East Leake Bantams Orange and secured a win with the odd goal in five, the goals coming from Josh Liley, Corey Instone and a first ever goal from Harry James.
The Under 10s went to Eagle Valley to play Arnold Town Maroon but it was the home side that ended the game with a 7-1 win. Declan Dennehy scored the Teversal goal.
Toton Tornadoes were the visitors to Healdswood Rec for a game against the Under 12s, Kyle Saulter scored for Teversal but the final score was a 10-1 defeat for the lads.
The Under 14s were on the road, visiting Butt Lane, the home of Bingham Town the game ended 3-1 in favour of the home team. Reece Smith scored the Teversal goal in the first half.
