….to replace the management team that left on the final whistle of the 2017/18 season.
The club previously expressed their gratitude to Dean Short, Craig Charlesworth and Dean Mitchell before turning their attentions to the appointment of Lee Cook and Phil Greaves who the club welcome with open arms, wishing them continued success as the club enters its Centenary season.
The club would like to thank all applicants and those who attended interviews, with Lee and Phil coming through the process demonstrating they have what it takes to work to the club’s aims to develop the whole senior men’s side of the club and developing two successful teams whilst looking at the development of players through the Youth set up.
Both Lee and Phil have shown the winning mentality with a successful two seasons guiding and steering Staveley Miners Welfare Reserve side to a Central Midland League Reserves Division promotion and League Cup double in 2016-2017 and consolidation in the Central Midlands League (Step 7) Black Dragon Division North last term. They both have a wealth of experience after spells at clubs like Pinxton FC and Blidworth Welfare over the years.
