It was the perfect start for all three new Toolstation NCEL Premier Division sides as they picked up away victories on the opening day of the 2014/15

Cleethorpes Town were the most impressive as a Marc Cooper hat-trick helped them to a 6-2 win at Liversedge with Alex Flett, Darren Hanslip and Jonathan Oglesby also netting on their historic day whilst Scott Dricoll converted a penalty and Kieran Corley got on the scoresheet for the home side.

Shaw Lane Aquaforce, who came up with Cleethorpes from Division One, were 2-1 winners at last season's third-placed Tadcaster Albion, Daniel Patterson with their winner on 70 minutes after Carl Stewart's goal for the Brewers had cancelled out their early opener from George Conway.

And, Worksop Town defeated hosts Armthorpe Welfare, 3-2, to start their campaign at their new level in the best possible way.

Andre Johnson broke the deadlock for the Tigers on five minutes but Kieran Benson levelled the scores immediately after the interval.

Connor Sellars and Matt Booth put the visitors two goals clear before an 84th minute strike from Anthony Ryan brought Welfare back into the game and made it a tense finale.

Handsworth Parramore were the division's biggest winners with a 6-0 home win over Glasshoughton Welfare to top the early table, Lee Whittington's brace added to with goals from Vill Powell, Nicky Travis, Luke Fletcher and Ryan Johnson.

Two goals in the last seven minutes from Luke Mangham grabbed Garforth Town a 3-1 victory over visitors Parkgate and Anthony Mackie also struck twice in Maltby Main's 2-0 home win against Nostell Miners Welfare.

There were away wins for Heanor Town who won 3-0 at Albion Sports, Thackley who defeated Barton Town Old Boys, 3-1, and Bridlington Town who prevailed 4-1 at Staveley Miners Welfare whilst there was a goalless draw between Athersley Recreation and Retford United.

There were varying fortunes for the two sides who were promoted into Division One with Penistone Church starting with a win, Alvin Riley's penalty and a second-half goal from Lewis Dickinson securing a 2-0 home victory against Shirebrook Town.

AFC Mansfield went down to a late strike from Asa Paradoe, losing 1-0 to Selby Town at the Forest Town Stadium.

Lewis Chambers netted in injury time to make it a 2-1 win for relegated Lincoln Moorlands Railway over visitors Worsbrough Bridge Athletic but fellow demoted side Winterton Rangers were beaten 3-0 at Pontefract Collieries, Kingsley Wetherald, Andrew Catton and Tom Copping with the goals.

AFC Emley were the day's top scorers, winning 8-1 at Grimsby Borough, Max Leonard's hat-trick helping them to a comprehensive victory.

Another side that went goal crazy were Louth Town who were 6-0 victors at Eccleshill United with Lee Croft getting two of them.

A Jamie Smith double helped Clipstone to a 3-0 home win against Dronfield Town and Knaresborough Town beat visitors Hallam, 2-1, Seb Carole's 67th minute strike proving the winner.

There were 1-1 draws for Teversal at Hemsworth Miners Welfare and for Rossington Main at home to Hall Road Rangers whilst there were no goals in the match between Bottesford Town and Yorkshire Amateur.
