Louth Town have become the third Toolstation NCEL side to reach a County Cup final after their 2-1 win at Evo-Stik League side Brigg Town in midweek.

Jamie Coulson scored both of their goals in the Lincolnshire Senior Trophy Semi-Final tie, meaning he has now netted in eleven consecutive games for the White Wolves, a new club record.

Tadcaster Albion, however, were unable to make it an all-NCEL Final in the West Riding County Cup as, despite a late double from Lewis Clarkson, the Brewers went down 3-2 at Bradford Park Avenue who will now play Garforth Town for the trophy.

In the Premier Division, Worksop Town are up to third, six points behind leaders Tadcaster with two games in hand, after Conor Higginson and Tom Elliott struck in their 2-0 victory at Athersley Recreation.

Fifth-placed Staveley Miners Welfare are now six points clear of Bridlington Town, who are sixth, as Ellis Wall and Kurtis Morley ensured they won 2-0 at Liversedge.

A Scott Phillips brace helped Barton Town Old Boys to a 4-0 defeat of bottom-placed hosts Glasshoughton Welfare and the Swans are now seventh in the table.

Pontefract Collieries missed out on a chance to go top of Division One as they drew 0-0 at Rossington Main but they are now only behind AFC Emley on goal difference.

Clipstone climbed to third as an early goal from Daniel Wood saw them win 1-0 at local rivals Teversal.

Danny Boulton converted two penalties as Bottesford Town won 3-0 at Dronfield Town, Danny Howes' injury-time goal snatched Penistone Church a dramatic 2-1 triumph at Eccleshill United and Yorkshire Amateur were 2-0 victors at Hallam.

In fact, the only home victory in midweek came from Selby Town who beat visitors Lincoln Moorlands Railway, 6-1, with Chris Jackson getting a hat-trick for the Robins.
