Clipstone are through to the Semi-Finals of the Notts Senior Cup after a 5-2 home win over EMCL side Kimberley Miners Welfare in midweek.

The Cobras went behind on 48 minutes but two goals each from Ellis Wall and Nicky Walker, along with a further strike from Alec Denton, put them firmly in control with a quarter-of-an-hour remaining before the visitors grabbed a second late on.

Retford United, however, bowed out of the competition after they were beaten 3-2 in extra time by Radford, Mark West and Jermaine Gordon with the Badgers' goals.

And, Pickering Town are through to the Fourth Round of the League Cup after their 2-0 victory at Glasshoughton Welfare, Joe Danby's fifth minute opener added to by Callum Ward in the second period.

In the Premier Division, a Benn Lewis brace secured Bridlington Town a 2-0 win at fellow top four side Cleethorpes Town to become the new league leaders ahead of Handsworth Parramore who are up to second after Stephen Warne and Jon Froggatt found the net as they beat visitors Brigg Town by the same scoreline.

They both went above Worksop Town who drew 1-1 at Albion Sports, Callum Harrison snatching them a point in injury time after Omar Habeeb had put the hosts ahead early in the second half.

Staveley Miners Welfare are seventh following their 4-0 away win over Armthorpe Welfare, Adam Scott with two of their goals whilst Jamie Brown and Steve Carty also got on the scoresheet.

Thomas Dugdale's second of the evening for Thackley after 82 minutes saw them pick up three points with a 4-3 victory at Garforth Town, Parkgate moved out of the relegation zone by winning 3-1 at Pontefract Collieries thanks to a hat-trick from Jordan Turner, and Steve Hopewell's second-minute strike saw Maltby Main beat visitors Athersley Recreation by a single goal.

The top two teams in Division One were both beaten on their travels with leaders Hemsworth Miners Welfare going down 2-1 at Bottesford Town, Tom Johnson and Terry Barwick sealing the win after Samuel Jones had put the visitors ahead.

And, AFC Mansfield took the lead at Hallam through Nathan Swindells but Steve Brammer struck twice and Michael Blythen added to the hosts' tally in a 3-1 victory.

Alex Wood's double helped Westella VIP to a 5-2 home win over Eccleshill United whilst Selby Town defeated visitors Rossington Main, 3-1.
