The Northern Counties East League have set the dates for the opening round of the League Cup. League newcomers Hull United will visit the Tevie Boys on Tuesday 11th August with a 7.45pm kick off - just three days after the opening game of the season.
The winners will progress to Round Three of the competition bypassing Round Two (Don't ask! It's complicated)
