TEVERSAL moved back to top in the table as a result of a 3-2 win at STAPENHILL, but they had to work hard to achieve it. Dave Cockerill broke the deadlock for the visitors with the first of his hat-trick on 37 minutes. Then goals from Niall Dawkins and Pete Martin in the last three minutes of the first half changed things round and put the home side ahead. Cockerill levelled things up again five minutes into the second half and then claimed the match ball and the three points in the 72nd minute.

The local derby at Selhurst Street also went the way of the visitors as DUNKIRK beat RADFORD 4-0. The game was finely balanced up to the interval with Tim Berridge’s 14th minute strike the only one of the first half. But another from Berridge on 53 minutes and two goals in a minute from Ben Gowing and Steve Chaplin sent the Boatmen back home happy.

ARNOLD TOWN are going through a rough period at the moment and suffered a 4-1 home defeat to BARROW TOWN as the visitors kept up the sequence of away wins this week. Jawanza Grant had given the Eagles the best possible start inside four minutes but Nduoma Chilaka levelled things up on 35 and then went on to complete a splendid hat-trick, the last of which came in the last minute. Zak Ginvert claimed the visitors other goal.

Away win sequence halted by an equaliser from Tyler Sibson on the hour for HOLWELL SPORTS after Tom Lewis had given home side BORROWASH VICTORIA a 14th minute lead. No further goals and the points shared.

A home win at last! And more than that, a home win for GRAHAM STREET PRIMS and most welcome it was. But they had to come from behind twice to eventually take the points against a WEST BRIDGFORD side for whom Anthony Willey had given them a thirteenth minute lead. Jak Kenworthy levelled within seven minutes but Tyrone Bradshaw put the visitors back in front on the half hour mark. This lead only lasted five minutes before Kurt Dallison levelled again, and the same player put Prims in front for the first time in the game almost on the stroke of half time. Kevin Morrow looked to have made the win comfortable for the home side with a fourth goal ten minutes from the end, but Dan Hudson hit a third for the Nottingham side in the 90th minute to set up an uncomfortable finish but Prims held out for a welcome win.

GEDLING MINERS WELFARE made progress in the First Round of the Nottinghamshire FA Senior Cup competition with a 2-1 win over Nottinghamshire Senior League side Southwell City. Alex Clarson put them ahead after ten minutes, and after Southwell had levelled substitute Jurgan Charlesworth nabbed the 70th minute winner.
