Ben Clayton joined Thackley in the middle of last season from Knaresborough Town shortly after his father Paul Clayton became Assistant Manager.
Ben is a hardworking, strong tackling mid field player who covers all areas of the field during a match. He is also a very effective defender. Unfortunately, Ben picked up a number of injuries during his short time at Thackley but whenever he turned out for the Dennyboys he always gave a one hundred percent performance.
Thackley will miss Ben and we thank him for his contribution, we wish him well, and an injury free season at Knaresborough.
