Jamie has undergone the first of many operations to reconstruct his knee following a tackle during our Northern Counties East Football League - Premier Division clash with Hemsworth MW earlier this month. The tackle completely severed Jamie’s anterior cruciate and lateral cruciate ligaments, badly ruptured his posterior cruciate ligament and dislocated his knee cap.

The priority is restoring full movement to enable Jamie to walk again, but to achieve this, it is expected that Jamie will require treatment for up to 18 months.

The JustGiving page has been set up to help Jamie with the costs of his treatment and equipment to help with his mobility. The club are committed to doing all it can to help Jamie in his recovery and therefore we would ask that anyone who is able to donate, no matter how small, please do - as it will go to a very worthy cause and help one of our players on his road to recovery.
