NCEL RULES ON BAD WEATHER POSTPONEMENTS
The Baris NCEL has reminded clubs of the rules applying to bad weather postponements - they are subject to pitch inspections on match day. See below.
The message sent to clubs this morning (Friday 10/02/2012) states the following:
"Until such time as the League Management Board decide otherwise League Rule 15.2 applies - pitch inspections to be carried out on the day of the match(es).
"In view of the current weather conditions and forecasts this may seem harsh but in the past clubs/managers have abused the system when it suits them not to play a fixture."
