It is with great sadness that we learnt today of the tragic death of Daniel Wilkinson, a player with Shaw Lane AFC.

Daniel collapsed during a Cup match against Brighouse Town and died shortly afterwards

This is a great loss and everyone at Thackley FC sends their deepest sympathies to his family and friends at this very sad time
