Thackley FC was founded in 1930, and for 88 years the club has benefitted from thousands of hours of community volunteers. Many of the current committee have served the club for 40 years or more. Without these people, the club simply would not be in existence. As a not for profit club, there is a constant battle with rising costs when trying to provide a community facility.

Whilst Thackley FC always welcomes more of the community to volunteer to utilise any of their skills for the benefit of the club, it is appreciated that this may not always be possible.

However, you can now help to support Thackley FC from the comfort of your own home and using the smart phone / tablet / computer you are reading this on, simply by doing your shopping!

Introducing the “EasyFundraising” App. Thackley FC has been set up and accepted as a “cause”. This means that now when purchases are made through the app, a % donation of your spend can be donated directly to Thackley FC.

For example, if you were undertaking your online weekly shop at Morrisons, if you did the same purchases by logging on to the app / website first, a donation of up to £2.30 could be made to the club. Whilst this does not seem like much, any donations which can assist the survival of the club is greatly appreciated.
