On Thursday night Thackley take on Bridlington Town in the Quarter Final of the NCE League Cup. This is a competition in which Thackley have had a certain amount of success in the past. They have managed to get to the Final on four previous occasions, winning the cup twice in 2012 and 2013.

Thackley have already played Bridlington twice in the league this season, the Seasiders winning at Dennyfield in August, Thackley coming away from Queensgate with a point in December, which all makes for a close game.
