Age 27. “Morgi” is a strong central defender who frequently scores from set pieces. Although his best position is centre half he can also perform effectively in midfield. His previous clubs are Bradford Park Avenue, Eccleshill and Harro
James Firth
Age 22. Another strong tackling central defender who joined Thackley from Dudley Hill Rangers. “Firthy” is particularly skilful with his left foot and is often deployed as the left side of a defensive trio. His pace is a significant asset Paul Maltby
Age 30. Paul has taken a relatively late step up to our level of football when joining Thackley from Local Sunday Football in 2009. He is a tenacious midfield player and can be relied upon to win possession in those fiercely contested areas o Ross Daly

Ryan Newton
Age 19. Versatile midfield player who can play both wide and centrally. He shows that he is strong on the ball with a good shot and the ability to win tackles.  He joined Thackley in the close season from Guiseley having previously played for Matthew Hall

Mathew Mathers
Age 21. Another extremely versatile performer who is equally effective at centre half or centre forward. In his first appearance as a centre forward last season he scored a hat trick at Hallam and following that the goals just kept coming! Andy King
