Thame United's Paul Kuhn was recently awarded Runners Up in the National Awards for FA Groundsman of the Year

Held at St Georges Park, the English FA National Football Centre, Thame United's Paul Kuhn was presented with Runners Up National Award for FA Step 5 & 6 clubs.

The presentation was made by Head Groundsman at St Georges Park, Alan Ferguson, and recognises the fantastic work undertaken by Paul for maintaining the 23 acre site at Meadow View Park
TFP General Manager Frank Thompson said, "We've always been proud of the playing surfaces here and most visiting teams make a point of congratulating us for their excellent condition, regardless of the time of year or the weather conditions.

But for the local and then national FA to recognise us and in particular, Paul for his hard work and dedication to the game is a fantastic achievement.
Local judging took place earlier in the Year with West Ham's Head Groundsman a visitor to the ASM Stadium before Paul was shortlisted for the Awards

On behalf of all the players, coaches and everyone else involved at Thame Football Partnership I'd like to pass on my own thanks to Paul and to the FA for their excellent awards ceremony at St George's Park."
