Thatcham RFC

This is a day for everybody to get together and celebrate the '30th Anniversary' of the Club and to raise a glass and remember 'past' friends from The Mighty Thatcham Rugby Club.

There will be a match in the afternoon between the Thatcham RFC Squad v Berkshire Presidents XV. 3pm kick-off. Players for the Presidents XV will be from a selection of Berkshire Clubs like Hungerford RFC, Newbury Stags, Kingsclere RFC, Reading Abbey RFC and Thatcham RFC. The Thatcham team will be a collection of the Thatcham RFC squad old and new.

Please let me the club know if your available to play and wish to take part in this historic day. We will be playing with a rolling sub basis, so you can be on for as short or as long a time as you wish. There will be match food for players following the game.

During the late afternoon & evening is 'Pig & a Gig' being held at the Thatcham & Newbury Hockey Club. There will be a raffle and an auction for some great prizes that Annabelle Hudson has kindly gathered from local businesses ranging from rounds of golf at Sandford Springs, an MOT, bubbly and lots more.

It will cost you only £10 each, for that you will get a Hog Roast Bap, live music and to be part of a fantastic day not to be missed. Any money raised on the day will be split equally between Newbury & District Cancer Care Trust and the Thatcham RFC Development Fund.

Please reply on TRFC forum if you are attending also if your going to bring you kit and play. Everybody young and old are welcome to the day but we do ask that it's over 18's only after 7pm
