The new Thatcham Tornadoes U6 squad will starts training at Henwick Worthy Playing Fields from Thursday 13th September 2018 from 6-7pm (just look for the Tornadoes Flag - we will be on the top grass area in the vicinity of the car park, not the main playing field).

Boys and Girls in Year 1 from September 2018 are very welcome to come along and join us. Initially, training sessions will be with Tornadoes FA licensed coaches but moving forward, we will need parents to take over the running and coaching of this squad. All volunteers need to complete and volunteer form and undertake a CRC check; the club will fund one coach per team to undertake their FA Level 1 in Coaching Football.

IMPORTANT: This squad is ONLY for children who were born on/between 1st September 2012 and 31st August 2013 (i.e. children will be starting in Year 1 at Primary/Infant school from September 2018). We are really sorry but we cannot take children younger than this in this squad.

Children need to bring along a drink and parents need to ensure that their son/daughter is wearing shinpads (wear under long football socks). Football boots aren't necessary - trainers / astrotrainers are fine.

Whilst membership of Thatcham Tornadoes U6s is FREE, we will need parents to complete membership and medical forms.

Please note a parent (or designated adult) MUST remain on site for the duration of the sessions. Thank you.

Finally, from October until March, our U6s will train on the astroturf at Henwick (under floodlights) - only trainers or astrotrainers can be worn. NO FOOTBALL BOOTS.
