The new Thatcham Tornadoes U6 squad starts training at Henwick Worthy Playing Fields from Thursday 15th September 2016 from 6-7pm (just look for the Tornadoes Flag).

Boys and Girls in Year 1 from September 2016 are very welcome to come along and join us. Initially, training sessions will be with our UEFA ‘B’ licence coach, Colin Metcalfe.

IMPORTANT: This squad is ONLY for children who will celebrate their 6th Birthday on/between 1st September 2016 and 31st August 2017.
i.e. Children will be in Year 1 at Primary/Infant school from September 2016.

We are really sorry but we cannot take children younger than this in this squad.

If you would like to join in, please just come along on 15th September or email us for more information.

Just bring along a drink and make sure your son/daughter is wearing shinpads (wear under long football socks). Football boots aren't necessary - trainers / astrotrainers are fine.

Whilst membership of Thatcham Tornadoes U6s is FREE, we will need parents to complete membership and medical forms.

Please note a parent (or designated adult) MUST remain on site for the duration of the sessions. Thank you.

Finally, from October until March, our U6s will train on the astroturf at Henwick (under floodlights) - only trainers or astrotrainers can be worn. NO FOOTBALL BOOTS.

If your child is starting in Reception/Foundation 2 at Primary/Infant School in September 2016 and interested in football, you will be welcome to join us for our Saturday morning Summer School that runs for six weeks starting June 2017.
