Thatcham Tornadoes are delighted to announce that office outfitters and refurbishers, R-Biz, are the official sponsors of our U10 Girls Team providing the squad with playing kit and training jackets.

The interest in Girls Football is growing at a tremendous rate both locally and nationally, thanks to the successes of the Lionesses and the higher profile of Women's Super League Football on TV and in the press.

Thatcham Tornadoes established an U10 Girls team towards the end of the 2014-15 season and our team has enjoyed a fantastic season playing in Division 1 of the BCGFL league.

Our U10 Girls team have reached the final of the BCGFL Cup and will face fellow Reading FC Women Sister Club, Tilehurst Panthers, in the final on 23rd April at Thatcham Town FC. The Girls are looking forward to playing in several Girls Football Tournaments over the Summer.

Thatcham Tornadoes is delighted to announce that as of 14th April, we gained a Big Sister in Reading FC Women. An agreement was signed to become the 5th Sister Club to Reading; this is a new FA initiative partnering WSL clubs with grassroots club to promote football in the local area. The girls will not only benefit from coaching sessions and training camps run by the Sister Club, but also have the opportunity to attend home matches and meet the teams playing.
