(Assistant Manager) Jason Braidwood - Played at professional level for four years under the management of Lou Macari, Ossie Ardilies, Glenn Hoddle and Martin O’Neill. A nasty knee injury cut short his career on the non league circuit. Was appointed manager of Thatcham Town in 2004 and guided them to promotion to the Southern league in 2006. Left Thatcham Town in 2007 after 11 years at the club before joining Andover in 2008. Rejoined the club in October 2010 as Assistant to Gary Ackling, helping guide the club to its highest ever finish.
(Player/Coach) Will Bratt - Hard working defender, can play at either right or left back. Had an impressive first season at the club in 2010/11. A popular member of the team both on and off the field. Appointed Player/Coach in May 2011.
(Sports Therapist) Richard Fox – ‘Foxy’ is a Popular member of the Backroom Staff.
(Goalkeeper) Paul Strudley - Signed for Thatcham in July 2004 from AFC Wallingford. Has established himself as one of the most consistent keepers in the division. 'Struds' is now in his 8th season at the club.
(Defender/Captain) Gareth Thomas - Re-signed for the club in November 09 after a brief spell with Hungerford Town. Captained the side to a Play Off place in the 2010/11 season. Made a total of 42 appearences and played in 19 of 22 games which resulted in clean sheets during the 10/11 season.
(Defender) Mark Hughes - Joined from Reading Town in the summer of 2010/11, a powerful defender whose strong tackling will make him popular amongst supporters.A big character on and off the pitch who will score his fair amount of goals. Went on to make 44 appearences in his first season with the club, scoring a total of 7 goals including a hatrick in The Basingstoke Senior Cup Final against Tadley Calleva. Also played in 21 of the clubs 22 clean sheets during the 10/11 season.
(Defender) Mark James - Has previous Southern League experience from his time at Andover. Strong central defender who has previously played for both Hungerford Town and Newbury. Powerful in the tackle and claims his fair share of goals from set pieces. Played a total of 15 games at the back end of the 10/11 season, helping the club to 9 clean sheets in the process
(Defender) Paul Taplin - Left back who gives his all in every game. The club’s longest-serving player - he has had 2 spells at the club, either side of a brief spell with Winchester City.
(Defender) Matt Bowler - A strong centre-half who joined Thatcham in January 09 from Winchester City.
(Defender) Sam Flegg – Joined the club during 2011/12 Pre-Season, proving to be a quality signing with his impressive displays.
(Midfielder) Tom Melledew - Rejoined the club in the summer of 11/12 from Abingdon United where he won Player of The Year & Players Player of The Year for 10/11.
(Midfielder) Tom Etheridge - Tom is a combative left footed player who can play either in the centre or on the left side of midfield. Came through the Acadamy at Cirecenster going on to play for their First Team. Scored the winning goal in the 2009/10 Division One South & West Play Off Final securing Cirencester Town a place in The Southern Premier League.
(Midfielder) Scott Rees - A tireless midfielder who has superb technique. A real box-to-box player who is very strong in the air despite being relatively short. Made 46 appearences in his first season at the club, going on to score 5 goals including a hatrick away at Cinderford Town, also claimed Supporters Player and Players Player of The Year Awards for the 10/11 season.
(Midfielder) Robbie Sadler - Joined from Hungerford Town in January 2011. Robbie can play anywhere at the back or across midfield. Was a regular under 1st Team Manager Gary Ackling when at Milton United. Also a top Cricket Batsman. Made a total of 23 appearences for The Kingfishers last season.
(Midfielder) Sam Tucker - During his first spell at the club made 92 appearances, scoring 7 goals before joining Didcot Town in the summer of 2011. Re-joined the club for his second spell in September 2011.
(Midfielder) Carl Self - A left footer with fantastic pace and great technical ability. Broke into the first team during the 09/10 season and also helped the Youth Team win the Challenge Cup in that year. Had a brief spell at Hungerford Town but returned to the club in November 2011, scored on his return debut in The Red Insure League Cup game at Wimborne Town.
(Midfielder/Striker) Shane Kingston - The club are pleased to have captured his signature, recently relocated to the area from Somerset. An attacking midfielder who can also play as a striker.
(Midfielder/Striker) Sam Hamilton - Made First Team debut in League Cup game against Oxford City in October 2010. A regular scorer for The Reserves during 09/10 & 10/11 seasons including finishing as The Reserves Golden Boot Winner in 10/11, now looking to establish himself as a member of The First Team squad.
(Striker) James Clark - A young strong forward who is deceptively quick. James notched 28 goals during the 09/10 season for Reading Town. Came across from Reading Town with ex Manager Colin Millard, continued at the club under the guidance of Gary Ackling & Jason Braidwood, going on to score 20 goals in 43 appearences in his first season at Southern League level during 10/11 season.
(Striker) Marc Green - Returned to the club from Newbury in November 2010. Has pace to get at opposition defences. Marc is the 2nd oldest of the four Green brothers, 'Goose' is another top clubman.
(Striker) Sean Cook - Returned to the club in November 2010 alongside Marc Green. went on to make 18 appearences scoring 6 goals during 10/11 season.
(Striker) Jemel Johnson - After a season away prolific goalscorer Jemel Johnson has re-signed for The Kingfishers. Since his previous spell at the club, JJ has spent a short spell at the start of 10/11 season at Windsor & Eton before joining Hungerford Town and going on to finish the season as their top goalscorer and also winning their Supporters Player Of The Year Award. In his previous spell with the club Jemel hit a total of 36 goals during the 08/09 & 09/10 seasons.
(Striker) David Cameron - Can play as a Striker, or anywhere down the right and will have to wait international clearance before being able to play. Has represented Northern Ireland Schoolboys before trialing at Manchester City, Blackburn and Wolves before signing for Leeds United for 2 yeaars. Has also played in the Milk Cup with County Antrim playing along side the likes of Manchester United's Johnny Evans and Darron Gibson.
