Mickey Bell, manager of Evo-Stik League Southern Division One South & West club Clevedon Town, has re-signed midfielder Ashley Kington.
Former Bristol City professional Kington arrived at the Hand Stadium following his release from Ashton Gate last summer – but was snapped up by Southern Premier side Oxford City following a number of impressive displays in the early part of last season. He went on to spend a short spell at Clevedon`s league rivals Mangotsfield United at the end of the last campaign, before deciding to commit to a second spell at the Hand Stadium. Bell said: "Ashley was a key member of my team early last season, having put in some excellent performances. "We didn't want to stand in his way when Oxford came in for him last year. It was with some reluctance that I had to let him go and I am delighted that he has decided to return to my squad at Clevedon."
