Thatcham Town Reserves welcome Woodley Town this Saturday and are aiming for another 3 points and keeping in the mix at the top of the table.
The reserves last played woodley back in October during our Indian summer on a day where the temperature was 30 degrees and the pitch was dry and hard but despite both teams finding the conditions tough it was Thatcham who came away with a 4-0 victory and 3 points but 3 months on the conditions have changed and we can not underestimate them.
Woodley are sitting around mid table and have had a few recent good results knocking Newbury out of the League cup and beating Rayners Lane so they are capable on there day of beating anyone in our division.
Managers Gary Tingle and Matt Robinson are delighted with the performances of the players this season. Even when we weren't playing well we were winning games, now we are playing well.
We also have players coming back from injury which is great news considering just after christmas the squad was down to the bare bones.
All support would be appreciated this Saturday, 3pm at waterside park, Thatcham.
