Oldham used their game in hand to go 2 points clear at the top of the division after a hard working 2-0 win over John Leggott. Oldham started the game in usual fashion pressurising the opposition into losing possesion and laying assault on the goal.It took a A spot kick after 20 mins from Ryan Fagan to give Oldham a well deserved lead. The game stayed in the balance throughout the first half with Oldham's keeper Osman Bushara saving well from a one on one.

The second half saw the game turn sour as Sam Chadwick was sent off on the hour for raising his hand to an opponent. This had little impact on the Oldham performance as the 10 men's work rate simply increased. Anthony Curran gave Oldham breathing room 5 minutes after the sending off when he poked home form 5 yards after the keeper dropped a crossed ball under pressure.

There were a cou0ple of minor scares for Oldham in the closing minutes and they held out for a comfortable 2-0 win. The win puts them top of the table 2 points clear of Stockport and New Mills.
