Tadcaster started strongly and dominated first 10mins and their first shot at goal hitting the post.
Thirsk were not intimidated, and soon changed the run of play and for most of the rest of the match Thirsk were in possession.
Olivia Borchard scoring a minute before half time meant Thirsk went into the break with the upper hand. The second half continued to be Thirsk in possession, hitting the post 4 times with Hannah Slater and Fern Watson both very close to scoring several times.
Apart from a scary 10mins towards the end of the match Thirsk were very much in charge and deserved to come out winners at the end.
