The team on Saturday were Andy in goal. Mike, Michael, George and Grant in defence. Ollie, Liam, Matty and Conner in midfield. Jonathan and Alex in attack. This was always going to be a hard game and we unfortunately conceded two goals early in the first half However we kept ourselves in the game when Conner won a short corner Liam received the ball from Jonathan 's injection struck the ball and caught the foot of a York player. Jonathan injected again and this time Liam struck the ball into the bottom of the goal. We pressed the York area with Matty and Conner feeding Alex and Jonathan but could not score again before the half time whistle blew. In the second half George came out of defence into the midfield. This worked for a while but York broke us down scoring 2 more goals and the game ended 4-1 . Thanks to Darren and Richard for umpiring.
