Despite only loosing one game, not enough points from the drawn games saw them relegated.

Today the team was Jacob H, Sebastian S, Freddie P, Jack D, Oscar W, Rupert H, William K and Archie B.
In our first game we played against Driffield. The team went into this game a bit rusty, but defence of Sebastian and Freddie did a brilliant job of keeping Driffield away from our goal and pushing the ball forward to William in the attack. The Driffield attack kept up the pressure, but our midfield of Jack, Rupert and Oscar helped out by Sebastian and Freddie to keep out their attack with Jacob picking up the scraps when Driffield managed to get onto the attack, but eventually they cracked and Driffield managed to break the deadlock making it 1-0. We reacted well to this though and went straight onto the attack and made sure to try our best to get back into the game and it worked out well as get played a well weighted ball through to Oscar who calmly slotted it past the keeper making 1-1 and that was how the game ended.
In our second game against Bradford we started out strong with the midfield of Jack, Oscar and Rupert putting pressure onto the Bradford defence by passing the ball well to get the ball to William but we were unable to create any proper chances. Even when Bradford did manage to get onto the attack the defence of Sebastian and Freddie were doing a good job of keeping Bradford attack at bay and when they did get through Jacob stood strong and did a good job of stopping Bradford from scoring. Our first game ended 0-0.
Our third game was against Wakefield. In this game Wakefield were applying a lot of pressure to our defence then in our first game than Wakefield but the team kept together and we eventually managed to be able to get out of defence and push further forward but Wakefield managed to stray strong and eventually went back on the attack and managed to score twice in quick succession making it 2-0. Afterwards we tried to get back into the game, but the Wakefield defence stayed strong and they moved the ball forward managing to score a further 2 goals making the game 4-0.
Our fourth game was against Selby both teams started out strong going both onto the attack and throughout the game it was a very close with both keepers making some amazing saves and the game ended 0-0.
The final game was against Brigg like the game against Selby was an extremely close game with both teams creating chances and defended well and were passing the ball around creating plenty of chances to score and the deadlock was broken when Rupert managed to get through and slap the ball into the goal. However, Brigg went onto the attack and leveled the score and that was how the game ended.
I would like to thank the parents for driving the kids to the game and Ken and Chris for umpiring.
