Thirsk ‘B’ team found today tough competition, but are to be commended in never giving up throughout the days play. It took them a while to settle in as a team but eventually they started to play some good linking play moving the ball up the pitch to put pressure on the opposing team, no goals were forthcoming for Thirsk in any of their games. All the girls played their hearts out today and should be proud of themselves for getting to these playoffs. The most important thing from the entire season played is for these players to understand that development is a long term goal and to have seen this happen from the start of the season to this point has been a great
achievement.
