This is the explanation from the GRFU

"Ladies & Gentlemen,

At recent GRFU club forums 2 questions were posed about the GRFU Reserve Leagues. One was about the system used to determine league position. The second was about the use of “flexible” fixtures at the beginning of the season to determine the viability of teams before they are allocated to one of the lower reserve leagues. GRFU wishes to gauge the opinions of clubs, players and others involved with 2nd and lower adult male teams by means of a survey.

Firstly, we ask that one club administrator completes the survey providing the “official” view of your club. As asked in the survey, that individual should provide his / her name and position in the club. We ask that individual completes the survey by Fri 16th June 2017. That should give sufficient time for clubs to determine their “official” view.

Secondly, we ask that you put the link on your website and social media platforms encouraging others in your club involved with the GRFU Reserve Leagues to complete the survey. Again, we ask individuals to complete the survey by Fri 16th June 2017."
