It was a local derby atQueens Drive. Thornes hoped to keep their winning streak going. Playing conditions were tough, with a strong wind. The football was fast and flowing and it took both teams a while to get into their stride.

It was Thornes who netted the first goal through Bailey Hall. Crofton battled hard and come close to leveling the score, before Kieran Lawn received a great ball from Joe Eyre And slotted the ball home. Both teams created more chances before half time, but the score remained 2-0 in Thornes favour.

Thornes started well in the second half with Bailey Hall scoring his second of the game. The strong defence of Thornes kept Crofton at bay until they were awarded a penalty which was emphatically converted.

Jemaine Donnelly killed off the game, with his first for goal Thornes after a goalmouth scramble.

The Referee awarded the Lala's man of match Jamaine Donnelly.

Coaches man of match went to Hayden Griffiths and Most improved went to Elliot Hammond.
