As many of you may be aware, our BarBars Captain, Phil (the Doc) Horsefield had an argument with the fells above Grasmere and the fells won! I am very pleased to report that following quite severe injuries to both legs, and being airlifted to hospital in Carlisle for surgery, the Doc is starting on the road to recovery. A transfer to Bispham Rehab is imminent, if not already happened.
Doc is happy for the lunch to go ahead and who knows, we may be able to break him out for a couple of hours!!!!!
So we are gaining access to the "notebook" and the "Port fountain" and hope to see you all there.

Good to see that all the Barbars donations to the air ambulance have been put to good use. :) We will keep you updated on Phil's progress.
