Thornton Rugby are very sad to announce the passing of Hilda Hesketh on Easter Sunday aged 85.
Hilda played a major role in the development of the Club during the 1960’s and 70’s through her work and leadership of the Ladies Committee.

The Hesketh family have been part of the fabric of Thornton Rugby for more than 60 years. Husband Harry, sons Richard and Roger, and Grandson Henry, have all been Players, Members and Sponsors of the club ever since.

Hilda’s Cremation will be at Carleton on Wednesday 26 April at 3.30 pm. All friends and members are welcome at Carleton and afterwards at Roger’s house.

Our thoughts are with all of the Hesketh family at this sad time.
