Thoroughbreds Xmas Inter-Club Tournament
Thoroughbreds NC held a Christmas Inter-Club Tournament on Wednesday 14th December to get members into the festive spirit.
Members over 14 years of age were invited to take part in the tournament to encourage interaction between the different training groups and junior and senior members. There was a twist with players not being able to play the same position more than once over the course of the evening meaning that players had to rely on their versatility.
Everyone was asked to bring a wrapped present (up to the value of £5.00). These were placed into Santa sack and then everyone picked one out at random at the end of the evening.
There were 4 teams in total and each team selected a player of the match from the opposition at the end of every game.
The player of the tournament was Beatrice Beckett.
