CHILD PROTECTION / WELFARE
Thrumpton Cricket Club treats the welfare of our junior members as being of paramount importance.
All managers are issued with the ECB Child Protection Policy "safe hands" document and all managers and coaches understand and follow the ECB welfare of young People Policy and Procedures.
As well as Child Protection, these cover guidelines on wearing appropriate protective equipment, on closeness of fielders to the batsmen and bowling limits to avoid injury.
All managers and coaches are CRB checked and other relevant personnel are required to fill out self-declaration forms.
The designated Child Welfare officer for the club, has significant training and experience of child protection issues.
The club have our own guidelines for child welfare and disciplinary procedures.
It is the responsibility of all adults associated with the club to be vigilant in respect of child protection. If you have any concerns about the welfare of any child, speak to
