3. Safeguarding Reporting Structure


Thrumpton Cricket Club Safeguarding Reporting Structure
Please remember this key point;
• It is everyone’s duty to report suspected cases of abuse, bullying or concern to protect children. It is for the professional bodies/services to decide if abuse or neglect has taken place.
Structure
• Club Official/Volunteer – RESPONSE to the disclosure/suspicion and/or allegation
• RECORD the relevant information in the confidential ECB incident form located in the club welfare file (which is held securely at the club house)
• REPORT to the Club Welfare Officer – Mrs Ellen Sampson - 0115 877 3433 or 07780 690305. Mrs Zoe Hildred - 07900 828048 or Mr Mark Sampson - 0115 877 3433 or 07501 437691.
• Where there are concerns about the immediate welfare or safety of a child contact;
• Local Social Services at Nottinghamshire County Council on 0115 9823823
• Or Nottinghamshire Police Child Abuse Investigation Unit on 0115 9482999 (in emergency dial 999)
• Club Welfare Officers report to the County Welfare Officer – Graham Redfern - 07719 876431
• Who respond to the ECB child protection unit
