Neil Webley Shaw 1944 - 2017

Neil Shaw died on 2nd May 2017.

He was born in Thrumpton and joined the Cricket Club as a boy following in the footsteps of his brothers Geof and Ian.

They in turn had followed previous generations of the Shaw family who played and supported the Club for many years

Neil was a good batsman and a useful wicketkeeper and made a huge contribution to the life of the Club.

He remained a member of the Club after he retired from playing enjoying the role of umpire on frequent occasions.
