A general meeting was held in the village hall on Friday 19th November 1976 in the presence of 16 members. Mr G Seymour took the chair. Apologies were received from Mr G Blatherwick

The minutes of the last meeting were read and were signed by the Chairman to be a correct record.

Thr Treasurer Mr S Shaw circulated the accounts, which were accepted and signed. The accounts showed a credit of £39. A Vote of thanks were made to Mr S Shaw for the work he had put into keeping the accounts over the last year.

The Officials for the 1977 season were elected as follows.

The captains were then elected for the 1977 season as follows

The committee was re elected as the previous year with the addition of Mr I Adkin, Mr S Pepper, Mr A Pick and Mr M Priestley

The Umpires were then elected Mr J Smith Mr E Chettle Mr S Shaw Mr A Pepper

The averages were then read as above. Mr R Pick created a club record of 2006 runs for the season.

It was agreed that the annual subs should be £1 and the match fee should be 20p per match.

It was agreed that the annual dinner should be held at Mapperley Banquetting suite on Friday 4th February 1977 with Mr and Mrs G Seymour as guests of honour.

A vote of thanks was passed for mr I Adkin for the equipment he made for the club during the season.

Thanks were given to Mr R Priestley for the use of his landrover for mowing the outfield and to Mr S James for beer, minerals and glasses supplied during the season.

The meeting then closed with a vote of thanks for Mr G Seymour for taking the chair, for agreeing to continue as President of the club, and for all the help and interest taken in club activities over the past year.
