Thrumpton Village Cricket Club
Club Events
On Saturday 31st March the Club will be taking part in the annual Natwest Cricket Force event.
What is Natwest Cricket Force? I hear you all cry. Well it is a self help programme for ECB affiliated cricket clubs to help recruit more volunteers and to improve/ready grounds and facilities for the start of the new season. Evidence shows that the more you are prepared to help yourself, the more others are willing to help you.
So if you are handy with a hoover, magnificent with a mop or prolific with a paint brush the club needs your help. The event will hopefully kicks off at around 9am and jobs will be allocated to volunteers upon arrival. As part of the affiliation with the ECB we receive a batch of free t-shirts which will also be allocated to the volunteers on the day.
This event will form an essential part of our pre-season preparation and any help during the day is greatly appreciated. You never know you may also get fed and watered as part of the deal.
So put the date 31st March in your calendar and we'll see you there, NO EXCUSES!!!!!
