It was pretty easy to get to Ilkeston as there was a branch line up the Erewash valley to Langley Mill, Ilkeston and Codnor Park. It was built in 1847

From the station it was a short walk to the Old Cricket Chapel ground.

We already had the score in a close contest which Thrumpton won by 2 runs, now we have the full scorecard to add to the site.
