As well as the match reports the 84th century scored by a Thrumpton player has been found.
Quite appropriately it is one of the many missing tons that was scored by Bob Pick from a game against Long Eaton Methodists played on May 20th 1978. He scored 110 not out and this now makes a total of 6 scored by him.
Also included in the honours list is a 7 wickets for 65 bowling stint for Ron Priestley in the game against Dorchester on July 16th 1978. This is now the 111th time that 6 or more wickets has been taken

A battling 45 not out from R Pick ensured that Thrumpton stayed at the top of Nottingham Evening League Division 4 after they had looked doomed against Rutland.
Facing a Rutland score of 79-7 Thrumpton lost half of their side for 18 and victory looked out of the question, but Pick who had earlier taken 3 wickets for 13 had different ideas and his swashbuckling approach took Thrumpton to a 3 wicket victory
