Saturday sees John Dewsbury as the matchball sponsor for the 1st game against Ellerslie. John was wicketkeeper for years and was also handy with the bat with a sweet on drive. When he was at the crease the cows seemed to stay well clear.

Tonight sees Peter & Lynda Benson sponsor the matchball for the Junior Under 15 Cup game against Burton Joyce tonight. They have two sons playing for the club, one for the Juniors and one for the mini badgers. Both sons are equally at home with the bat and ball that is when they are not taking their father to the cleaners on the golf course.
