The Mini Badgers are back
After a long hard miserable winter, the long awaited Kwiks and Junior nets took place tonight at East Leake leisure centre
There was a healthy turnout for the Kwiks winter nets training session with 18+ players attending and the added bonus that it included a couple of new faces.
When asked of his opinion of how it went head coach Mark Priestley replied " We were very pleased with the session & the kids seemed to put a lot of hard work into it and really enjoyed themselves".
The Hardball session was also well attended and Paul Burns said "We were very pleased with how
things went. The lads were soon into the swing of things with some decent bowling & batting performances".
There is no doubt that the future of Thrumpton Cricket club is very bright & in capable hands of
a team of very enthusiastic & dedicated coaches.
