News and information about the goings on at Thurston Rangers this weekend
This Saturday see's the 1st XV return to action after a week's break at home against Swaffham RUFC. This is a mouth watering 2nd v 3rd in the table clash. Captain Ben Sinclair and his troops are raring to go and want to make amends for their first defeat of the season at the hands of Norwich Union by a single point last time out.
This match is at home in front of large home support from a sold out VP luncheon prior to the game. The players meet is 12:45pm with the match set to kick off at 2:15pm.
The 2nd XV who are in a rich vein of form travel to Haverhill RFC looking to cement their place as table toppers of the Merit League after disposing of Clacton last weekend 26-0.
If you are not attending the VP dinner but wish to support the boys, please come along to watch the 1st XV match at Robsinson Field and add to what is bound to be a tremendous atmosphere on the side line. The Rangers have really appreciated the support so far this season and wish for it to continue.
