28-year-old Ben originally comes from Liverpool, though most of his formative ice hockey was played in Wales. At a shade over 6’ and weighing in at 86kgs, he has a fearsome right shot. Taking a browse through his hockey CV, seasons 2002 through to 2007 found Ben on the roster with the Flames and the Avalanche, both based in Flintshire. Notably, seasons 2011 through to 2014 saw him skate out with Flintshire Freeze, Deeside Dragons and with Widnes Wild where he took the captain’s “C”. All teams played out of the NIHL Division 2 leagues.

He took a career break in 2014/15 but then came storming back with the Hawks in their famous romp through the Moralee Conference NIHL 1 last year. All in all a thoroughly accomplished player.
