Tilbury took the lead early from Jaszime Johnsonn following a set piece. The lead lasted only 2 minutes when Halstead pulled a goal back. Tilbury were back in front when another set piece was finished off by Dominic Goggin. Before the break Halstead were again back in the game when following a good move it was finished off at the back post. Tilbury continued to dominate and rewarded on 78 when they were awarded a penalty for handball. Robbie Farrell bashed home.
Paul Vaughan commented after the game. A good game from the boys in difficult conditions. After the late goal, we dealt with the pressure well.
