Two early goals from Ware was enough to secure a 2-0 victory

Ware 2 Tilbury 0 (Att 83)

Tilbury suffered a disappointing result and provided a under performed performance in Hertfordshire on Tuesday in a game the home side scored twice inside the opening 17 minutes.

Tilbury went into the game with an unchanged line up and showed some good early promise.

Ware did strike first on 5 minutes when Goss crossed for Brian Haule to head home unchallenged. Ware attacked well and made it 2, 12 minutes later when when a Delgados in-swinging corner was met by Murat Karagul low down to head in to an empty net.

On 25 Tilbury did have a chance to get back in the game when Toby Aromolaran ran into the box and was brought down and captain Jack Carlile saw his shot parried by Kyle Foster and away to safety.

Tilbury were a different side second half and the introduction of Tony Martin, Kurt Smith and Harry Cook saw Tilbury more of a danger, but were kept out well by a side who pressed the Dockers at every opportunity.

Tilbury now focus on the FA cup with a short trip to Brentwood Town on Saturday. 3pm kick off.

Tilbury: Butcher, C Mead, J Cook (K Smith 55), Peddie, Nightingill, Anderson, Aromolaran, Carlile, Odedoyin (H Cook 46), Richmond (Martin 66) and Aiken
