On another warm afternoon, Tilbury kept up there unbeaten run with a 3-1 victory over local rivals Basildon United. The home side started well and saw Dean Driscoll make a fine save after 11 minutes. Within 5 minutes Jack West saw his effort well saved by Bown. Within a minute Tilbury took the lead when Sam Cutler played in Jack West who unleashed a bullet effort that flew into the net. On 26 the home side were back on level terms when a delayed corner after a drinks break saw the Dockers unprepared and saw an equaliser. Jake Pooley had to go of before the break after a crunching tackle that saw him take no further part in the game. Manager Paul Vaughan introduced substitutes after the break and Tilbury were in control and only took the lead with 9 minutes to go when Emiel Aiken crossed for Harry Cook to head home just inside the 6 yard box. Cook sealed the game 3 minutes late when he was played in and ran through to score past Brown.

On Tueaday Tilbury play there first home campaign when they welcome Grays Athletic in the Stan Veness Trophy 7.45pm kick off.

A young Tilbury side won there second consecutive game with a single goal victory over Essex Olympian side Westhamians on Tilbury's North Field. The only goal of the game came from Scott Gipson.

On Wednesday Tilbury welcome FC Hamlets again on the North Field with a 7.30pm kick off.

After the game manager James Imber commented. "Another good result for a young organised side"
