Tilbury Football Club are pushing hard than ever for success with Vaughans coaching staff working hard off the pitch to keep and get the right players in, and the youth system being made to one of the Best in Essex. Vaughans men have now started work on the ground to improve the look and to better the playing surface.

Work started on the pitch back in the first weekend in May and is looking better and greener than ever ready for the first pre-season friendly in three weeks at home to Conference South rivals Thurrock FC. This weekend work on the changing rooms and the outside of the pitch commenced with new seating put in as well as remodelled changing facilities for the players. Vaughan's men will be working up the ground till the start of the season to give the Docker's supporters and players the best facilities around at this level.
