Tilbury Reserves beat Stansted 5-1 with goals from Jake Pooley, Danny Aldwinckle and Bradley Ross who got a hat-trick.

The reserves travelled to Stansted for the 4th meeting of the season between the sides. The Dockers continued there good form against their hosts scoring the sides 16th goal and Bradley Ross also scoring his 6th with a well taken hat-rick
Dockers kept up there title chances with a game they dominated from start to finish.

After a slow start, Tilbury took the lead on 24 when Lawrie Wiggins crossed after good work from Ryan Blackman and played in Bradley Ross to hit home. Just before the break a corner from the excellent Blackman found Jake Pooley who headed home unmarked. Only 2 minutes after the break Tilbury made it 3 when a long ball found Ross who rounded the keeper to score. Just after the hour Tilbury thought they had scored when another Blackman cross found Ross whose effort looked to have gone over the line.
On 75 they did make it 4 when Blackman was again in the thick of the action played in a good pass and Ross slotted into an empty net for a well deserved hat-rick. Stansted only effort on goal in the game came on 83 when they latched onto a mistake in the defence to score past Driscoll. Tilbury did hit there 5th of the night on 85 when a cross from the right found substitute Danny Aldwinckle at the back post unmarked to score.
In the final seconds Bradley Ross fired over the bar.

After the game a happy manager Mick Jacobs said " A good result and the lads did what was asked of them. It was disappointing to concede a late goal. We still have plenty to play for, starting with our 2 legged semi final v Thurrock which all starts on Friday night.

They have 2 more league games to play, Great Wakering Rovers at home on Thursday 2nd May and the newly arranged game at East Thurrock on the 7th. Also, they face Thurrock in the League Cup Semi Finals with the first leg being played away this Friday (26th April).
